Our Story
Travis County Fire Rescue was built on a foundation of selfless service and a deep commitment to the communities of southeastern Travis County. What began as a localized effort to provide essential fire protection has evolved into a highly professional, multi-jurisdictional emergency response department. Travis County Fire Rescue works in close partnership with Travis County ESD No. 11, Travis County ESD No. 15, and Caldwell-Hays ESD No. 1 to deliver high-quality emergency services. Through shared resources and deep professional collaboration, our departments provide unified fire, rescue, and EMS coverage for residents across Travis, Caldwell, and Hays counties. Together, we ensure that every community in our region receives rapid, reliable protection around the clock.
