ESD 1 Election Notice

Caldwell/Hays Emergency Services District No. 1 will hold a General Election on November 3, 2026, for three (3) Commissioner positions, each serving a four (4) year term.

Pursuant to Texas Health and Safety Code Section 775.0345, a candidate must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a resident of the district. In addition, current state law requires a candidate for an emergency services district to be a qualified voter as required by Texas Election Code Section 141.001.

To be eligible, a person must:

Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
Reside within the district boundaries;
Be a qualified voter;
Not have been determined mentally incompetent by a court; and
Not have a final felony conviction.

Notice is hereby provided that members of the Boards of Commissioners of Travis County Emergency Services District No. 11/15 and Caldwell-Hays Emergency Services District No. 1 may attend a social dinner gathering on Thursday, October 15, 2026, immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting of the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 11/15 Board of Commissioners.

Location: Fire Station 1102 - 4010 FM 1327 / Creedmoor Texas 78610
Time: Immediately following the ESD No. 11 Board meeting

The gathering is intended solely as a social event. A quorum of either or both Boards may be present; however, no public business, district operations, policy matters, or other matters within the jurisdiction of either Board will be discussed, deliberated, or considered. No official action or votes will be taken by either Board.

This gathering is not intended to constitute a meeting of either Board under the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
